Initially we were taken aback by the country smells on the farm. However, the hotel was great! We loved the big outdoor spaces and especially enjoyed the swing seats to relax in on the patio area. ||The food in this hotel was excellent and staff were great. The breakfast was delicious! Beautiful hotel and lovely location.

Family hotel with restaurant. Basic, clean room can open the window it has a fly screen. Make sure you tell reception if you have booked half board and reserve a time at the restaurant. They don't book you in automatically. Good food and cake. Caters more for local tourism than non German speakers. Very family friendly clientele seemed to be mostly large families.

I stayed at the Wessner Hof for one night with a Leger luxuria tour to Carinthia. The location was beautiful and we were welcomed in by helpful staff. I had an upper floor room with large opening windows. I would describe the room as traditional and reasonably well equipped. There were no tea making facilities and I found the whole building to be very warm. We had both breakfast (buffet) and dinner at the hotel, which were modest but sufficient. ||The room was fairly comfortable, but the bed was far too hard for me and I woke with a lot of aches and pains. The shower also had an issue with the holder which would not adjust and so I had to hold it to use it. The water pressure was not great either but there was plenty of warm water. ||The hotel was ideal for an overnight but would not be my choice for a longer stay as it did not really suit my needs. Of note the lift is very narrow/small and no good if you are claustrophobic like me. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a night and had a fantastic time. They were doing a Bavarian style. Tapas with small Bavarian dishes, which was perfect. It means you can try many things for a lower price. Would recommend the restaurant and the hotel. The view from our room was spectacular. You might think that with a restaurant, it's noisy, but we didn't hear a thing! The soundproofing must be very good. Despite our windows being open, we didn't hear the restaurants hustle and hustle. Would visit again.

We stayed at this hotel early September arriving after a long trek from Rupolding. The hotel is part of a farm and provided a very rural experience. The premises were spacious and you could tell that the food products were all sourced locally. The receptionist (Jonas) was super hospitable as he checked us in (and out the next day). We had breakfast (included in the price) the next day which provided an array of hot and cold products along with a jug of coffee.||The hotel also had a bar and restaurant which we did not use with the exception of buying a coffee to bring to our rooms; the price of which was reasonable. The location of the hotel is great; close to numerous supermarkets and a bus stop. The only slight issue with our stay was that we had a family room, which meant there was a door between our room and our neighbors. Although our neighbours weren’t very loud, the thin door meant that we could hear everything from the room next door.

Nice local hotel, family run. Located on the family farm with mountain view. Good value for money. Food consists of famous local dishes, portions are large. There is a playground for the kids. The mini hydraulic excavator for kids is great, for dads too;-)

We had a wonderful Sunday family lunch here at the restaurant area. It was quite busy with multiple family gatherings, but the service was still diligent and fast. We also got a soup starter while waiting for the main course. I would gladly come back again soon!

Such a good find... Was meant to be just a stop during a long trip, we ended up spending 2 nights there and didn't even bother to look for a restaurant in town, we ate there too! Such a lovely place in the countryside and our room had a direct view on the hills 🤩
